I think of all the NHL teams around the league, I'd say it'd be hardest to be a player in Edmonton. The city is kind of secluded way up far north in Alberta, and it's not a very big city. The other NHL teams are mostly in bigger cities, and are not in such secluded areas. It seems the players in Edmonton have it a bit tougher because of this. Do you agree?
I mean, I know it's about the hockey, but the lifestyle outside of the rink is a factor too. Players in bigger cities and in more urban areas like New York, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Los Angeles, would seemingly have an easier time in their life outside of the rink because those larger cities have more to offer - which could affect how the players perform on ice.
