Update: Brunnstrom agreed to a one-year, $675,000 contract with the Stars on Friday, the Associated Press reports.

Recommendation: The deal allows both sides to avoid an arbitration hearing that had been scheduled for Friday. Brunnstrom had 17 goals in 2008-2009, but a bum shoulder helped contribute to a weak 2009-2010 campaign that included just two goals in 44 games.
