Update: Gaborik will not play Tuesday against Ottawa, the Bergen Record reports.

Recommendation: He caused an injury scare when he missed the third period of Slovakia’s semifinal loss to Canada at the Olympics, but returned to play in the bronze-medal game. Gaborik could just be getting some rest after the Olympics, but hopefully this doesn’t turn into an extended injury issue.
